What is the Domain User?

This group is only available on Windows 2000 servers acting as Domain Controllers.

In a domain environment, the Administrator account and all new user accounts are automatically included as members of this group. This group is also a member of the Users local group for the domain and for every Windows computer in the domain.

This information was verified with Windows 2000.
