BEEP

BEEP is a communications protocol developed by Marshall T. Rose and others and standardized by the IETF. It is standardized in RFC 3080 and RFC 3081. BEEP is meant to provide efficient and secure peer-to-peer communicates. BEEP is a multiplexing protocol. It heavily uses XML for management features.
