syslog-protocol
Syslog-protocol is an Internet draft being worked on by the
syslog-sec IETF working group.
It is a new modular approach for the
syslog
protocol. It specifies message format as well as a
transport-independant delivery subsystem. Please note that
syslog-protocol is not yet a standard (though it is on the IETF standards track,
so it is scheduled to become one once it is finished. Some additional work can
be found at the author's
